Position Type:

Full-Time/Part-Time and on-call available.

Salary:

Estimated $35-45 per hour, including tips. ($25 Guaranteed weekly hourly minimum average for regular dealers)


Job Summary:

Desert Bluffs Poker Club seeks an experienced, customer-service-oriented Poker Dealer to join our team. You’ll be at the heart of the action, ensuring a smooth, fair, and enjoyable gaming experience for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Card Handling: Deal cards professionally and accurately for various poker games.
  2. Game Management: Maintain game pace, announce bets and raises, and ensure adherence to game rules.
  3. Customer Service: Engage with players, providing an inviting and enjoyable gaming environment.
  4. Security: Monitor for cheating or unusual activities; communicate concerns to floor staff.
  5. Chip Handling: Execute accurate chip transactions and maintain the integrity of your table bank.
  6. Cleanliness: Keep your area tidy, including tables, chips, and cards.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Washington Gaming License Required
  • Background Check Required
  • Previous dealing experience is preferred, but we make exceptions.
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Strong arithmetic skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary permits

What is the process for getting hired?

  2. You’ll have a quick phone interview. We can answer questions about pushes and priority and downs and all of that.
  3. You’ll come to our office and audition and we’ll evaluate you on the spot. We will discuss your audition then and there.
  4. If you’re qualified you’ll get an offer that includes your status, your hourly rate and any other things we plan on offering. This will be individualized based on your situation and our conversations.
  5. You’ll accept the offer.
